Take It To Heart

This is incredibly encouraging to your 50-year-old editor of Further: “We took these 50-year-old hearts and turned the clock back to 30- or 35-year-old hearts.”

Nappy Output

According to the author of this piece, taking two short “power naps” every day made it easier to focus, but it was important to nap the right way. If the right way includes actually falling to sleep, I guess I’m out.

Make It Up On Volume

Measuring a person’s integrity or cognitive ability are predictive indicators of success. But integrity and cognitive ability are fluid, not fixed. They can be changed, and in radical ways with the right influence and behavior.

What’s the Worst That Can Happen?

The Stoics believed that by imagining the worst case scenario ahead of time, they could overcome their fears of negative experiences and make better plans to prevent them. This way of thinking, in which you consider the opposite of what you want, is known as inversion, and it can help you become a great thinker.
