The ancient wisdom is true: Happiness is not something you seek, but something you become.

In fact, chasing happiness is most likely going to make you unhappy. And contrary to popular belief, success doesn’t necessarily lead to happiness — but oddly enough, happiness often results in success.

So is happiness just a matter of fate? Not at all … you can actively engage in activities that help you become happy. That’s because happiness comes from doing things that are challenging, meaningful, and worthwhile.

It’s all about relationships, fulfilling work, enjoyable hobbies, a healthy lifestyle, designing your personal space, and developing a personal life philosophy. In other words, a bunch of stuff you can focus on without worrying about being happy, which results in … happiness.
