Greetings from Portland!
I’m doing a bit of work, a bit of exploring the city, and quite a bit of reading.
Ryan Holiday’s new book Perennial Seller was on a lot of people’s reading list in the last week, including mine. I finished it in two sittings.
The book is essentially about doing quality work, and marketing that work with the intention of making it last. You could argue that this has been my focus for at least the last decade, and yet Holiday’s writing kept me going, allowing me to discover excellent nuggets of useful truth all along the way.

As my business partner Sonia Simone says, don’t spend your time on shortcuts — they take too long. Start with doing something meaningful and great, and then don’t be afraid to tell the world about it.
Keep going-

Intrinsic Creation
Very few people do incredible work, because they are more focused on what they can get than what they can give. Only a select few will become something, not for the accolades and outcomes, but for the purpose of intensifying the process of their work and contribution.
